Sherell Rosegreen True story and experience with domestic abuse

For Sherell Rosegreen, life has been a string of adversities she has overcome through empowerment and strength, which is why she is so proud of her life today and to be a spoke’s women for domestic violence through The Prophetic Foundation Inc. a nonprofit organization.

Originally from the Caribbean island of Jamaica, naturalized as an American citizen, Ms. Rosegreen struggled a severe abusive relationship during her pregnancy.

Ms. Rosegreen said."I never knew that true love for someone can become so dangerous after many years of intimacy for the one you love.

I always tried to make people happy so that they would like me.

As a teen she had been singing for churches all around with a voice truly bless by God.Sherell Rosegreen story is based on a true events, she was the victim, but with God’s Grace and help she overcome domestic violence and acted accordingly with the law on her side.

Each year she encourage women all around the world going through mental abuse due to domestic abuse to be cognizant of the damage that seeing spousal abuse in the home does to children.I keep emphasizing the effects on the children because it is a big factor.

We may think they somehow are not aware of the violence, but most of the time they are.It can cause them to have learning disabilities and can interfere with their ability to succeed in loving relationships when they become adults.

Children who witness their mother being abuse may become fearful and anxious.They are always on guard, watching and waiting for the next event to occur.

Children from abusive homes can look fine to the outside world, but inside they are in terrible pain.

They may blame themselves for the abuse thinking if they had not done or said a particular thing, the abuse would not have occurred.
